@JoshWComeau Got a degree in engineering, though not software related. Showed up at the interview with my only personal project knowledge (a micro PHP medical mngmt app), got tested through ~10 questions you could do remotely then a modelization ans coding exercise. @JoshWComeau My current employer (@Odoo) considers that they prefer hiring someone who will be able to learn what they need shortly and not someone who will be productive right away. Basically, look for brains, not skills.On twitter.com

@JoshWComeau @Odoo The interview was 'long' (~5h) and preceded by an online test, but not stressful (no whiteboard, a lot of relaxed discussion about your interests and knowledge).
