First,let me say that I don't have a strong opinion on @jack. It's a nice thing he's doing, it doesn't mean he didn't fuck up in the past. I honestly don't really give a shit because tech unicorn riders are so far removed from my vision of life.

But one guy decided to donate 25% of his worth (or so I'm told) for this cause, and that amounts to 1 billion USD. At the moment, 25% of my worth is like, what, 10k€? Not accounting for upcoming debts and future inheritance; just what I have in my name right now.

This guy is 5 orders of magnitude above that. And I'm one of the lucky fews! I have a really comfy life, no complaints here. His worth compares to mine like mine compares to 1€.
