      @metakungfu Under an administration like the current one, this is a legitimate line fo questioning. Though my understanding of the census is that it's well protected both by law and now by math (youtu.be/pT19VwBAqKA).

    @metakungfu The problem with this line of questioning is its impact: if fearful populations ('illegal' immigrants, minorities, etc.) lie or don't answer, the stats on which policies will be based in the next ten years will reflect that lie or omission.

      @metakungfu I'm not saying everybody should answer fully, since I do wonder the same things you do: how could this data be misused at some point? I guess everybody should make their own decisions, but then it should be an informed one...
