      @reda_pureskill @Yenthe666 The payment module has seen no significant changes in ~6y and has been patched a lot because the online payment scene has changed a lot these last few years. I can assure you that it is high time something was done to have a cleaner code base and better extensibility.

    @reda_pureskill @Yenthe666 A refactor every 7 years is not, in my opinion, a fast pace. Especially in the online payment scene; I think Stripe has released 4 APIs in the last 4 years (I might be exaggerating but it sure feels like that).
