    @cedrickrier Nonsense. It's not an advanced signature but it is a perfectly fine electronic signature. You don't need advanced or qualified signatures as a general rule in commerce. Jurisprudence has shown it again and again. Pushing for complexity is an annoying reflex of IT people.

          @cedrickrier Combine these two, and the only side-effect is that your simple signature can be challenged in court. But providing sufficient proof is not difficult if your system is well built.

            @cedrickrier A blob of meta data is frankly better than a blob of ink. I signed bank papers manually and scanned them with my phone 6 months ago. Frankly I would have preferred a simple electronic signature to that kind of shitshow 😅
