I believe there is also a cultural difference in how we approach consumption. I can only speak for my social circles (let's call it comfortably middle-class), but we just don't want that many shits. We just don't want to, usually. We don't think the packaging and fanciness is worth the added price. I think we also smell a lot of marketing bullshit over these things. Why would I pay 3 times the price for fancy cereals, or flavored waters, etc.?Permalink On twitter.com
